The Government has announced the
go-ahead for a handful of eco-towns across

Rural Payments Agency Mapping. At the Royal Show Jim Fitzpatrick said that there would be no threat to the RPA payments to farmers this year. He acknowledged that the maps were problematic and said that they were looking at why so many were wrong.

Crossing the Threshold – A Community Development Approach to the use of Church Buildings 19th November, 2009, Royal National College Hereford. This is the first in the national ‘Crossing the Threshold’ programme, a series of events aimed at helping dioceses, parishes and their potential partners get the best from their buildings for wider community use. The conference will also be focusing on implementing the practice recommended in the recent government document ‘Realising the Potential’ which explores faith group engagement with the wider Third Sector, local government, local partnerships and regional development agencies.
